Our good Brother and Lodge member, Tyler Saunders, has organized a donation drive to send Holiday Care boxes over to the troops currently serving in Afghanistan. Given the significance of this work, our Lodge joins him in this effort, and supports him in this great and important undertaking.

We have been in touch with Mr.  & Mrs. Lt. Col. Geddings and currently there are approximately 450 personnel from New York serving in Southern Afghanistan, thirty-five of whom are female. We have ascertained that there are approximately fifty troops that do not have much, if any, support from home.

 

Our goal is to rally the Brethren and send our support overseas for the holidays; our immediate intent, with the assistance of our Brethren, is to send a minimum of fifty holiday care boxes.  The benefit of doing as much is that those who protect our right to the manifold blessings and comforts we enjoy, are reminded that there are those that support and care about them and their well-being. Joseph Warren-Gothic Lodge No. 934 humbly requests that all interested Brethren please donate something from the list below, and/or cash donations to cover shipping costs; it is estimated, at $15.90 per box, and fifty boxes shipped, that the minimal shipping costs will total $795.
